SENIOR GRIEF & LOSS SUPPORT
Compassionate, individualized support for older adults navigating bereavement, grief, life transitions, and the many losses and changes that can accompany later life.

Picture
Many older adults face profound and often unspoken losses as they age — losses that can affect identity, confidence, independence, purpose, relationships, and overall emotional well-being. I have worked extensively with seniors confronting these difficult transitions, and I understand how deeply experiences such as isolation, declining health, reduced mobility, and major life changes can affect one’s sense of dignity, self-worth, and hopefulness.
I provide compassionate support for seniors facing challenges such as:
  • Loss of physical strength, stamina, health, or cognitive function
  • Loss of independence and autonomy
  • Giving up driving privileges or reduced mobility
  • Physical impairment, chronic illness, or disability
  • Moving from a longtime home into a retirement residence or long-term care facility
  • Social isolation, loneliness, or diminishing social connections
  • Bereavement and the loss of spouses, siblings, friends, or lifelong companions
  • Anxiety, fear, sadness, grief, or uncertainty related to aging and life transitions
Many seniors struggle silently with feelings of invisibility, helplessness, frustration, dependency, or fear of becoming a burden to others. These emotions are both understandable and deeply human. Aging often involves not just practical adjustments, but also emotional and existential losses that deserve acknowledgment, compassion, and support.
I offer a safe, confidential, respectful, and non-judgmental space where thoughts, fears, frustrations, needs, desires, and personal preferences can be expressed openly and honestly. Together, we can work toward developing healthier coping strategies, reducing anxiety and emotional distress, strengthening resilience, and helping you regain a greater sense of meaning, dignity, emotional balance, and inner peace.
No one should have to navigate these challenges alone.
