• Full 60-Minute Sessions — I believe grief counselling should never feel rushed. Every session is a full hour in length, not the shortened 45–50 minute hour common in many practices.
• Time to Be Heard — You will have the time and space needed to speak openly, feel heard, and explore your grief at your own pace.
• Reasonable & Accessible Fees — Even during challenging economic times, I remain committed to keeping my fees as reasonable and accessible as possible.
• Financial Flexibility — I believe financial concerns should never be a barrier to receiving grief support. If cost is a concern, please reach out and we can discuss options.
• Insurance & Tax Receipts — Receipts are provided for all sessions and are often eligible for insurance reimbursement and/or income tax purposes.

Compassionate Grief Counselling,
Support & Education

I am a qualified thanatologist and highly experienced grief therapist, counsellor, consultant, facilitator, and educator, with specialized training in grief, loss, bereavement, death, dying, and palliative care.

For many years, I was trained and mentored by renowned grief expert Dawn Cruchet and also completed extensive psychotherapy training through the Argyle Institute.
Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, facing a serious illness, supporting someone through a difficult time, or struggling with another significant loss, you do not have to navigate it alone. My role is to listen with compassion, offer guidance, and help you find your footing amid the uncertainty and pain of loss.
I work with individuals, families, caregivers, and professionals—including healthcare providers, clergy, counsellors, educators, and others whose lives and work are touched by grief and bereavement.

No one should have to grieve alone.
Through Good Grief Central, the charitable organization I co-founded with Jillian Lucht, MSW, free online grief support groups are available for anyone seeking understanding, connection, and support.

TEARS ARE LIQUID EMOTION

Picture

Tears are a natural expression of grief, love, pain, and loss. When words fall short, they speak for us.
I offer a safe compassionate space where your grief can be expressed without judgment or pressure to “move on.” Whether your loss is recent or long past, we work together to understand your experience and support your healing in a way that feels right for you.

Grieving is a process that takes as long as it takes. There is no expiration date on our grief, just as there is no expiration date on our love for the person who has died.
